We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Assistant to support our sales team. The Sales Assistant is an hourly position and reports directly to the General Manager with the responsibility to support projects related to residential and commercial sales.

Starting pay based on experience. Premium pay for experience in flooring or construction!

Essential Duties/Responsibilities of the Sales Assistant:

• Process customer orders, including ordering material and following up on orders.
• Effectively communicate by phone or email with customers and sales team regarding the status of orders.
• Assist with and maintain project overview, product specs, drawings, and floorplans.
• Communicate with the warehouse or other departments to ensure proper documentation for all sales team's paperwork, drawings, and other documents.
• Send reminders and changes on any projects.
• Other sales support duties based on projects and assigned team.

Qualifications of the Sales Assistant:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous work experience supporting sales or project teams.
• Some floor covering or construction industry knowledge a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with an adaptation for change.
• Ability to verbally communicate effectively with all levels of staff as well as customers.
• PC experience including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel with the ability to learn custom software programs.
